Established in 1868, Murphy’s Transport Solutions is now a sixth-generation family business and one of the most successful family businesses in Australia.

A Long Haul to Success is a family company history of the Murphy family. I was appointed by Focus Publishing to research and write chapters to update this publication (from 1993 to current) and review and edit, where needed, the original manuscript.

The job included interviewing three senior executives of the Murphy family business, as well as key employees, researching past and current history and writing new chapters.

I also was appointed to photograph and coordinate a photo shoot (my photography work has appeared in many publications, usually accompanying my writing) as well as gather relevant photographs from other sources.
