Writing this report each year, it’s heartening to discover how Airport Development Group (ADG) is fulfilling its commitment to Indigenous engagement and inclusion.

From the very first cohort of graduates at ADG’s Indigenous Training Academy in 2022 through to a record number in 2025, ADG is growing the number of Aboriginal graduates and its full-time workforce while opening more pathways for education and employment.

Through Aboriginal mentors and purposeful organisations, ADG empowers Indigenous people to engage their own way by helping provide platforms that celebrate the remarkableness of the world’s oldest living culture with world-class tourism initiatives including Welcome to Country landmarks, art, workshops, dance, music and festivals.

By actively building new partnerships and engagements that provide opportunities for growth and reconciliation and continuing to learn and listen from Aboriginal groups and organisations including its Indigenous Advisory Committee, ADG and its dedicated teams are helping to make real and positive impacts on the lives of Indigenous Australians.

While a lot has been achieved, ADG acknowledge there is still so much more to do to achieve Aboriginal inclusion and equity. I look forward to documenting the next chapter on this journey.
